POSITION: MID-LEVEL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Claxton Logistics Services LLC, a leader in the training and education and logistics community, is looking for a qualified and highly motivated Mid-Level Systems Engineer to join our team.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will be a professional who shall provide continuous technical engineering support to the Engineering competency’s development of documentation that supports the Systems Engineering Technical Process and Systems Engineering Technical Management Process for the government client.
Duties include:
- Support continuous Configuration Management activities per the approved Program Manager Configuration Management Plan.
- Drafting and reviewing baseline documentation, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and Configuration Management Plan annexes, as well as participating in and supporting in Configuration Review Boards, Configuration Control Boards, and Configuration Audits.
- Support the Configuration Management (CM) of documentation, procedures, baselines, and Standard Operating Procedures per the government clients CM Plan. Prepare professional products, reports, and papers to support team activities, including helping teams develop the stories and messages needed to distill complex information into actionable plans.
- Ensuring test and scenario cases are properly mapped to specifications; managing and maintaining the database to capture capabilities, requirements, traceability, and document verification; analyzing and integrating requirement deliverables; and submitting any changes.
- Assist the Government in the development and maintenance of Engineering-related documentation, as required by using experience and relevant supporting policies and guidelines to draft and providing input on required documents.
- Assist the Government in overseeing the installation, configuration, and management of the IT and AV services.
- Candidates must possess at least five years of relative experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent mid-level experience as a Systems Engineer.
- This position typically performs all functional duties independently.
This position requires a current Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-U.S. Citizens will not be considered for this position.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Telework is not optional.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and occasional overnight travel may be expected.
