POSITION: MID-LEVEL ADMINISTRATIVE & OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Claxton Logistics Services LLC, a leader in the training and education and logistics community, is looking for a qualified and highly motivated Mid-Level Administrative & Operations Specialist to join our team.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will be a professional who shall provide enterprise-wide administrative support to the PROGRAM Management Office with meetings and calendar support for the PM and DPM, processing Defense Information System for Security (DISS) information for classified meetings, daily attendance reports, Defense Travel System (DTS) support, Correspondence, Technical Writing-Editing, and Documentation Processing, Conference Package Support, Command Service Desk and workspace/facilities work request support, office supply support, tasker support, and direct reporting dashboard support.
Duties include:
- Must be familiar with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR); Department of the Navy (DON) Correspondence Manual (SECNAV M-5216.5); MCO 5216.20B Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Supplement to the DON Correspondence Manual; U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) Style Manual; Marine Corps Records Management 5210.11F.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Provide the Program Manager with inbound/outbound personnel administrative support for activities such as but not limited to: Check In/Check Out, badge and System Authorization Access Request (SAAR, DD Form 2875) processing support, Indoctrination package preparation, preemptive welcome electronic communications, certification coordination, SharePoint (SP) file creation and administration, and database and tracker entries through completion.
- Support DTS permission level 10 duties as defined by the DoD Defense Travel Management Office Manual as needed and assist personnel with completion of travel requirements to include reviewing DTS authorizations and vouchers submitted by Government travelers.
- Review and edit correspondence and documentation for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format to ensure compliance with the DON Correspondence Manual, MCO 5216.20B, the GPO Style Manual.
- Provide advanced technical writing and editing support of PM WGC Acquisition Documentation from the PM team, and ensure consistency, format, language, grammar, and technical accuracy in keeping with the appropriate guidelines and directives.
- Create and track Work Request Solution and Information Technology Requests to submit approved requests from PM team personnel for facility and information technology support.
- Receive and deliver mail to the designated mail room courier(s) on days the command mail room courier is scheduled to be at the facility. Deliver mail received from the courier to the appropriate addressee. Unpack, store, inventory, and organize office supplies.
- Possess detailed knowledge of the ETMS2 NIPR and SIPR Tasker Management System and its functionality. Review incoming taskers and determine proper routing IAW organizational policy; track internal and external taskers; and ensure timely and accurate completion and closure of tasker and required actions.
- assist with the organizational NIPR and SIPR message inbox; review daily for incoming messages; and disseminate as appropriate.
- Assist the organizational data retrieval, compilation, assembly, and management of information used in the annual submission of the Command Chronology requirement using Command resources and maintain monthly input.
Preferred Education/Experience/Qualification:
- Candidates must possess at least five years of relative experience.
- A Mid-Level specialist must have at least five years of experience as well as a Bachelor's or equivalent vocational.
- This labor category typically performs all functional duties independently.
Security Clearance Requirement:
This position requires a current Secret Clearance. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-U.S. Citizens will not be considered for this position.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Telework is not optional.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and occasional overnight travel may be expected.
